Did you know that the therapeutic treatments of LED Phototherapy were stumbled across when NASA wanted to grow potatoes on a space shuttle?

That's right! In the 1980's, NASA funded research in order to understand whether plant matter could be grown in a space shuttle. The result was that LED light (red and blue in this case) was found to aid the growth of the potato plants.
The astronauts who tended to the plants, also noticed that the skin on their hands became more healthy, as these areas had also been under the light wavelengths.
As a result of this, and further research, LED Phototherapy expanded into the commercial market and is now used in clinics and some hospitals around the world, in order to improve skin and tissue health.
In fact, the Triwave MD LED machine is a medically approved device that Cheltenham Reflexology and Massage invested into. It has FDA-approved Blue, Red and Near-Infrared wavelengths that are certified to improve psoriasis, wound-healing, acne and pain. We also use LED phototherapy for anti-ageing and facial brightening.
We know that many people suffer with psoriasis, eczema, acne, non-healing wounds, knee pain, back pain and many other conditions that we know that LED Phototherapy could help with.
